DIY DRY ERASE CALENDAR OUT OF KRAFT PAPER :)

Here's some of the pictures I have on my "Organizing Ideas" album in pinterest. I've been wanting to do my version of these for ages but I'm always busy with work, or with brhent or if not, I'm just too lazy.

But I'm feeling artsy fartsy today, So i decided to dig into my art supplies.

I don't have a corkboard, and I don't have frames either, So I used the kraft paper, Cut out colored papers, wrapped it with the laminating film, Cut it out in strips and squares.

So tadaaaaaaaah, Here's the DRY ERASE KRAFT PAPER CALENDAR ala A piece of Kish

{ ORGANIZING IDEAS FROM PINTEREST! }

It's my Rest Day. No Work. But still, No Rest.
Cleaned the room earlier.. Noticed that our room {Just like my life lately, lol} Lacks Organization. Most Mums out there would have to agree that In this times that you need Inspirations or Ideas for Organization,
first thing that you would do is to either pick up your Smart phone/Iphone or go to your Pc and visit Pinterest , Yes? Here are some of the Organizing Ideas I got:

1 month to go!

1 month to go before Brhent goes back to School! He'll be in Kinder this coming school year, and I'm just so excited for him. I wanted to be more organize this coming school year. I know, I won't be with him most of the time because I have work, and he'll be staying with my Aunt, One of the Reason why I want to document every little thing he does at school. If you guys remember, I posted something about creating my very own version of Project life (>> Link here<<) made out of a 4x6 inches photo album. I decided to use that album as Brhent's Kindergarten Album.. It's just now that I have finalized about what to put in it, and what layout to use..

The album is a bit small, I don't want to make the pictures to small, and I don't want to put alot in 1 page cause it would look messy, So I decided to just put 3 pictures per page. This would have slots for notes, cards and pictures. :)

Project life uses this cards that are just so cool and artsy, So i decided to make one to for this album. Googled Kindergarten quotes and blaahs, and I came up with these cards! :)

I'll have those printed on a cardboard like paper. Would be making other designs some other day. I chose this color just because Brhent loves green (Blame, the Hulk!)

So far, this is just what I have.
Would be updating you guys about this project! :)

Anyways,  For those mums and dad's out there, There would be a Back-to-School Bazaar at SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 1 this May 17-19, 2013.  :)

See you there!

DIY PROJECT LIFE!

I remember my colleague's skype status on skype before.. It says something like "If you don't have money, learn to diy!". I've been into diys since i was a child. I remember doing personalized notebooks made out of unused papers from my old notebooks, creating paper clothes for my paper dolls.. But not because of we don't have money but I just like everything DIY.. It's more personalized and everything just seems to be so me.. lol

Anyways, Most of the mom blogs that I'm following is hooked up to this project life thing. For those who doesn't know what it is, well it looks like a scrapbook, but much more easier to do.. Well, It looks like a photo album and scrapbook in one.. Here's samples of Project Life i found on the blogs i follow:

(my favorite so far!)

I don't know if it's already available here in the Philippines, I've only seen one online seller from MNL that's about to sell one, and is just waiting because she ordered it from the US.. And honestly, I don't see myself buying it cause it's a bit pricey.. So since I love to DIY (though project life is already DIY!) I'd be creating my own Project life Using a Photo Album I have for ages now. lol.

It would kind of be a challenge for me because it only uses 4x6" sized pictures.
But just like what my 4 year old son says whenever he's having a hard time doing something:
"I CAN DO IT, I CAN MAKE IT!"

I'll be doing this later. This would be my project for my rest day, Day 1. hihihihi.
And i'll be documenting every trial and error through pictures
So i could share it to all of those DIY fans :)

And if I would be successful, then I'd try it using a bigger photo album
xx

GOODLUCK TO ME :)
