04302014: The one that got away.

0 4 3 0 2 0 1 4

It's funny how you find how small the world is when you find out that the person close to you knows a newly found friend, or an enemy or a family. It's always nice when you bump into someone you haven't seen in a while.

Boy deactivated his facebook. He likes this Girl. Girl knows the boy. They rode the same jeepney. Boy activated his facebook, and asked for the Girl's number. They texted. They went out. Now they are together. And Boy is mad in love with the Girl.

They are no strangers to me, though I haven't met the Girl yet.
I am a half stranger to the Boy.
And I am a total stranger to the Girl.

The boy lives nearby.
Met him once.
Haven't seen him after that.

There's this Girl, Who I hate so much.
I was betrayed - Hurt - Mad.
Saw her once - I am still mad.
Haven't seen her in a while.

This close friend of mine. Was hurt. Was betrayed by the Boy she loved so much. He chose the Girl over her. He left. She left. She was badly hurt. The boy lives nearby. 'Twas 2 years ago, but she has not, seen them together.

Amazing how God knows who you need to see again and who needs to get out of your mind and your eyes and your life. Maybe in God's time you'd see those people that you don't wish to see now. To catch up, To say your Hi's and Hello's, For closure or just for proof that you are not -- at all affected with whatever happened.. That you don't care.. Not anymore.

Hooded Top -  Thirfted

04292014: If I stay.

0 4 2 9 2 0 1 4

There's something about this pain that I love.
I love how it hurts. I love how it wakes me up.
I like how it opens my eyes.
The pain, even if it hurts so much, makes me see things --
Makes me feel things that I don't feel when I am too happy.

We complain when something bad happens,
We complain when someone hurts us.
We get mad when others pull us down.
Then we cry.

Instead of complaining, have you tried asking yourself why?
Instead of hating, and crying, and whining, Have you tried waiting?
Waiting for the right time.
Because in time --
Your why's would be answered.

In time..
You would say thank you.
Thank you for waking me up.
Thank you because the pain made me stronger.

In time, you would understand.

In time,
The pain won't be too painful.

What I wore:
Top & Skirt - Thrifted
Flats - Solemate

Hello sunshine!

When almost everyone is enjoying the summer heat in the beach, here I am. Taking ootd's somewhere near the office before I go home. Thanks Pau! Hahaha.

The heat is just killing me. Well, I ain't complaining. I'd rather be stuck in this kind of weather. It's still better to walk under the sun than walking under the rain! /sob

What I'm wearing:

Cardigan & Tank top: Thrifted
Shorts: DIY
Highcut Sneakers: NXY

Learning not to care.

You wear something simple and they would tell you that you're too plain. You wear something different, they would tell you that you look weird. People would always say something about you. People would always judge you.

Hello Stranger.
You don't know me and you don't know what happened.

Hello. Do you still remember what happened? I bet you still do.
Tell the stranger what happened -- what really happened.

Hi there dear readers, I just want to tell you that we can't change what people think about us. It's hard not to care. But it's also hard to talk to people who just listens to what they want to hear. It's hard to look at people that don't even want to open their eyes. It's hard to enter to a closed brain. Well yeah, I'd rather learn not to care.

OOTD: Boyish Chic

When I was young, my father would always tell everyone that I am 'tomboy' (Lesbian) Just because I am not maarte, I have alot of Boy - friends, and I play games that boys play. I am not into heels (Although I am guilty of wanting to have those flatform shoes that Spice Girls wears!) and I own alot of rubber shoes when I was a child. Then, 20 plus years later --- Here I am, a mom, and not a lesbian, but still doesn't know how to walk when occasions asks me to wear heels. I still own a lot of sneakers, (but thank you lord of shoes for creating sneakers with hidden wedges), And I am still not pa girl.

Though I have the learned the art of wearing skirts (Pants are so happy that they can finally rest most of the time), I still make sure that If I wear a skirt, It won't still look very much pa girl, because It's just not meeeeeee!. Lol. Above is a picture of what I wore at work last March 14. It's a dress down day at the office, that means we're allowed to wear casual clothes.

What I Wore:
Skull printed shirt: Thrifted, Visit Love 624 for unique thrifted finds
Khaki Pants: Bazaar at St. Francis Square, Ortigas
Black sneaker boots: NYX, Marikina Riverbanks Mall Branch

OOTD x REALIZATION : Preventing Burnout

Someone once asked me "Ano ginagawa mo para di ka ma burnout?", And OMG, that's just like one of the hardest thing to answer. It's like being asked "Why do you love him?". It's just unexplainable.

Work is just like everyone else's Love life. There are times when you're happy and times that you get sad. There would always be times that you just want to end it because you're tired or fed up. But it's something you can't just let go in a snap, specially if you're really inlove. Kasi if you would just let go, there's a big chance that you won't get it back.

So going back to the question, here's what I have to say:
1. You won't be burnout if you love what you're doing, If you don't love it, get out.
2. You might love what you're doing but you might be over doing everything. Take things slowly but surely.
3. Ask yourself why are you there, Who or What was your motivation, then think.

I am working for my child. I am working because I want to have things without asking anyone for money. I work because if I won't, where would I be, or my family be, and Last, I stayed for more than a year, so I think I am here, and would stay here because I am inlove with what I'm doing :)

WHAT KISH WORE: Thank God It's Monday!

Monday.
For normal people, Monday is: The first day of the week, "hay nako may pasok nanaman" day, most hated day, horrible traffic jam, "ang tagal naman mag friday" day.

For me: THANK GOD IT'S MONDAY!

Okay don't hate me please. I am absolutely a normal human being having good vibes all over my body just because i go on rest day every Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Hihi. Advantage? I only need to wear business attires every Monday (Because we're required to wear business attires every Mondays - Wednesdays that means that I'd go back to work by Thursday), Less days with heavy traffic jams, less  people in the mall, More more more more rest. Anyhoos, here's what i wore at work yesterday (Monday, January 27, 2014)

Top (Thirfted) , Black Skater Shirt , Red Flats

WHAT KISH WORE 2k14: WEEK # 1

One of our company's new rule is for us to dress up in business formal every Monday, to dress up in business casual from Tuesday and Wednesdays and dress down from Thursday - Sunday. I am honestly not a fan of wearing anything formal because a) I am not comfortable b) I commute for 2  hours max to work, I ride 2 jeepneys so no no no no no. But yeah, no one would want to break those simple rules, specially if it's just because of those reason. Anyhoos, what i'm gonna do from now on is to compile my ootd's for the week and put it in this blog. :) You can follow me on instagram (@exkishmepls)  for your daily dose of my ootd's and selfies, lol. Brown X Black

I have this strong relationship with colors. I love pastels and I like everything colorful. I remembered blogging about how I love wearing colorful clothes just because It matches my personality, and how I hate wearing dull colored clothes because It looks, uhhm, sad. But yeah, been browsing my ootd's and saw that I've been wearing less colorful clothes lately.. And, I.. Like it more. hehe.

Thrifted Sweater / Black Skirt / Socks / High-Cut Sneakers

Dress (Thrifted)  / Black Pants (Thrifted) / Brown Flats (St. Francis)
So yeah, that egyptian printed top above is a dress. Had it tucked just because I don't know what shoes to wear if I'd wear it as a dress since as you all know, I only have 2 pairs of girly girl shoes, and the rest, are all weird and isn't bagay with dresses, lol.

Dress (Thrifted)  / Leggings (SM Dept. Store)  / Black Boots (Riverbanks, Marikina)

I like it because it looks more matured, Well, If i can't wear shoes that people my age wear then I'll just wear the colors people my age likes :) And i feel that Black x Brown looks decent and formal, and would make my not so business casual clothes more office appropriate. ;)

RAINY DAY OOTD'S

12 OCTOBER 2013

While I am writing this, thank God for I am not hearing the sound of the rain i heard last night before I woke up. I just hate rainy days. Rainy days back when I was in Elementary means mud on my legs and my white socks, no playtime outside the school. In Highschool, it means I can't walk on my way home, running my way to the canteen, long lines, and wet uniform. And now that I'm working, rainy days means heavy traffic, flood, mud, angry people, very angry people, hot headed people. Oh God I hate rainy days. But anyways, here's a compilation of my rainy day ootd's at work.

GLOBE GO BIGGER MOVIE NIGHT

26 SEPTEMBER 2013
#GlobeGoBiggerMovieNight

My September was really a blast. Thanks to Globe and to Nuffnang for making it extra special :). First week of September, they sent me an email saying that I'm one of the winners for the Glad to be Globe Story Blogger Contest. Then Just before September ends, I joined and won the Globe Go Bigger Movie Night contest :) Was really excited because I just find Runner Runner's trailer awesome, the boyfriend (After watching the trailer) Was also excited (Which rarely happens) I thought this would also be a good post 87th Monthsarry Celebration, plus it would also be the first time that we'd attend a nuffnang event with friends, So, YEY!

OOTD: Beanie (Yel's,Gift from Baguio) | My Bestfriend's Cardigan | Striped Dress (Tucked) | DIY Maong Short | Black Socks, St. Francis | Platform Sneakers, Chyll / Riverbanks Branch

Hooray for having Gay Friends kasi you would never be bored. Charles and Jhang injured my jaw cause they're just uber funny, Hahaha. We were actually looking for a photobooth, I kinda got disappointed while waiting for our turn to get the tickets, cause all of the nuffnang events that I've been too, talagang may photobooth, Kaso I don't see anyone setting up a photobooth :( Then one of nuffnang's staff (Which is uber gwapo by the way) Handed us this card saying that we can take pictures, upload it on instagram and just put #GlobeGoBiggerMovieNight and they would have it printed *HOOOOOOOOOW COOOLLL IZZZ DAATTTT!!* haha. Good thing I was registered to SUPERSURF200 *Insert Happy Dance here*.

So yeah.. Going back.. The Movie was good. Would rate it 7 out of 10. Not a *OH MY GAHHHD, WOW!* but it's a *GOOD* movie. The story is a bit like '21', so yeah wasn't that impressed unlike Fast and the Furious 6 and Wizard of OZ but I wasn't disappointed too. It's something worth watching in the cinema if you haven't watched 21 yet. But if you've already seen 21, then just watch it at home on DVD.

Congratulations to all the winners, to Nuffnang and to Globe for having such a fun and well organized event! Hoping for more movie premiers for this month!
