04302014: The one that got away.

0 4 3 0 2 0 1 4

It's funny how you find how small the world is when you find out that the person close to you knows a newly found friend, or an enemy or a family. It's always nice when you bump into someone you haven't seen in a while.

Boy deactivated his facebook. He likes this Girl. Girl knows the boy. They rode the same jeepney. Boy activated his facebook, and asked for the Girl's number. They texted. They went out. Now they are together. And Boy is mad in love with the Girl.

They are no strangers to me, though I haven't met the Girl yet.
I am a half stranger to the Boy.
And I am a total stranger to the Girl.

The boy lives nearby.
Met him once.
Haven't seen him after that.

There's this Girl, Who I hate so much.
I was betrayed - Hurt - Mad.
Saw her once - I am still mad.
Haven't seen her in a while.

This close friend of mine. Was hurt. Was betrayed by the Boy she loved so much. He chose the Girl over her. He left. She left. She was badly hurt. The boy lives nearby. 'Twas 2 years ago, but she has not, seen them together.

Amazing how God knows who you need to see again and who needs to get out of your mind and your eyes and your life. Maybe in God's time you'd see those people that you don't wish to see now. To catch up, To say your Hi's and Hello's, For closure or just for proof that you are not -- at all affected with whatever happened.. That you don't care.. Not anymore.

OOTD x REALIZATION : Preventing Burnout

Someone once asked me "Ano ginagawa mo para di ka ma burnout?", And OMG, that's just like one of the hardest thing to answer. It's like being asked "Why do you love him?". It's just unexplainable.

Work is just like everyone else's Love life. There are times when you're happy and times that you get sad. There would always be times that you just want to end it because you're tired or fed up. But it's something you can't just let go in a snap, specially if you're really inlove. Kasi if you would just let go, there's a big chance that you won't get it back.

So going back to the question, here's what I have to say:
1. You won't be burnout if you love what you're doing, If you don't love it, get out.
2. You might love what you're doing but you might be over doing everything. Take things slowly but surely.
3. Ask yourself why are you there, Who or What was your motivation, then think.

I am working for my child. I am working because I want to have things without asking anyone for money. I work because if I won't, where would I be, or my family be, and Last, I stayed for more than a year, so I think I am here, and would stay here because I am inlove with what I'm doing :)

CHANGE.

Change.. Change.. Change.. This is my brain and my spirit's word of the day. After 234123123 months in the morning shift, I'm now back on being a vampire. I knew this would be happening because of a very bad attendance for the month, but aaaaah, it still did hit me in the head big time. Being little miss sunshine, I still am looking on the brighter side of things. Night shift means no traffic, means more calls (More chance of being the monster caller and getting $$$), being with my girlfriends (hello ria, emma, aira, earl, japz) and hmm, and no more running like a zombie (Just like in World War Z) just to ride a jeepney from Rosario going to Strata! (Hello fellow Crossing/JRC commuters, binabati ko kayo!) And while searching for quotes about change, I found this quote that really made me feel a bit better.

In my case, I accepted the schedule given to me because that's part of my job. Working on a BPO world means fucked up schedules, accepting the job means accepting the crazy ass shifting schedules. Plus, I know that this is what I deserve after having such a bad attendance. I accepted the change because I deserve it and I can't do nothing about it.

Next month, I don't want to be put on a schedule that I don't like, and since I have the option to choose a schedule, given that I have a good attendance, then I would change myself. My goal? Do my best at work everyday, Be at work everyday, and always be on time. Kaya ko to! Like what Brhent always says, "I can do it, I can make it!"

Realizations:

- Change isn't always negative. For me, it actually is more of a positive thing. Change for me is a wake up call. If something changes, it's because of something, knowing what that something is, whether it's negative or positive makes you feel aware of what to do next. It makes you think of a Goal. If things changed for the better, then your goal is to do whatever your doing now, or be better, because whatever you're doing brings up that good change. And if things are changing for the worst, then that means that what you're doing now might not be good or isn't enough, so the goal is to think of other ways to be better. Kuha nyo ba? O ang gulo ko na? lol.

If it comes back to you, It's yours: Life realization X Lost phone

If you love something let it go,
If it comes back to you, It's yours;
If it doesn't, It never was,
and it's not meant to be.

No matter how you take care of something, No matter how much you love it, if it's not meant for you, It's not going to stay for good. And when something goes away, it leaves you crying and it pain.. But it would also give you lessons in life. This post isn't about love pero ang galing cause it just matches. Only proves that even the smallest of things can give such big realizations in life. This post is about my Cellphone that got lost and was taken away by whoever SHE IS. I lost it at the CR in SM Marikina, Just in front of Vikings to be exact. I took care of it pero diba, ang galing na I'd lose it ng ganun ganun lang. Left it inside the cubicle because I was in a hurry to go out kasi nga I'm afraid na baka mainip si Brhent. Anyways, Called it, and it's still ringing. Don't want to leave because I'm thinking that has my phone's planning to return it, kaso I lost hope when she turned off the phone. (Sigh)

----

Realization:

- It doesn't matter kung pano mo inalagaan for how many years or how many months. What's important is the consistency. It would never be an excuse na "I've loved you and took care of you for X months or X years tapos nakalimutan lang kita ngayon, Iiwan mo na ko?". One mistake can erase all the good things that you've done. It sucks pero yes, you have to be consistent. Hindi pwedeng sa umpisa lang. Kelangan palagi, everyday, every minute.

- If it's not meant for you, It's not meant for you. Babalik yan, gagawa ng paraan at kung walang paraan na magawa e basta magkakaron parin ng paraan. If it's meant to lose that way, wala ka ng magagawa. Atleast you know that next time, you have to be very careful of the things that you treasure.

- Nauubos na yung honest people. People with conscience. At least now you know how it feels when  someone takes something away from you, So never get something that's not yours. Pag may nagmamay ari na, Back off.

----

Funny how losing my phone made me realize those things, yeah? Just a proof that everyday, on whatever scenario, you'd realize lots and lots of things. Things that might help you one day.

I just miss my phone, yun lang talaga yun. hihihihihi.
